reviewer 2025-12-15 eng ISPRA-CBM is a collection of over 1000 specimens belonging to polychaetes, mollusks, crustaceans and echinoderms and sampled in the soft sediments of the marine and coastal Italian environments by the Research group of Laboratory of Benthic Ecology of the Environmental Institute for Protection and Research (ISPRA). The present marine macrozoobenthic dataset contains a selection of 139 specimens belonging to polychaete annelids (63), mollusks (25), crustaceans (40) and echinoderms (11) stored in labeled vials and preserved in ethanol. The dataset covers the whole Italian marine waters (Mediterranean Sea).
